I'm mexican and I want to study a Master's Degree in Auckland, but I've never been there, so I have no idea how expensive it is to live there and if it's easy to find a job.

Thanks.

  4. No! Auckland, being the largest city in New Zea land, has heaps of work and jobs!

There are lots of restaurants, shops and cafes that you could get a job in, while your in Auckland. Perhaps try this website.

You've chosen a good place to study in! New Zealand is the best!

Auckland is amazing. Lots of boats going in and out of the Harbour. I would recommend that you stay on Auckland's Northshore while you're there as it is really really nice! Lots of beaches there aswell.

    There's the Auckland website.

In regards to the amount it costs to stay there, it isn't bad at all! It's expensive compared to the rest of NZ but still, it's nothing. Plus, your job will cover the cost of rent and you'll have some extra money to spend :)

I hope you study in Auckland and good luck!

    Thanks for the question :)

  5. Like everywhere else it depends on what typr of job you are looking for I suppose. If it is a certain profession, then maybe yes you may have difficulty, but then again in other professions you may not.

Part time work in retail, supermarkets, food industry should not really be a problem though
