How hard is it to find a job once you have a masters degree in phsyics?? and wat kind of jobs can you qualify for?

  1. Well, this sort of situation makes trades and technical training look very glorified.

    Anyway, usually jobs that involve expertise in physics are dominated by the PhD's.  


  2. It's not impossible but it might not be what you're looking for. I'm planning on doing a bachelors in physics for sure, so I've been looking all over for job opportunities available to me.

    The trouble is that a degree in physics doesn't prepare you for a specific job. You're just going there to learn more. But there are applications (obviously in almost anything you want if you try). Physics degrees seem quite useful in the financial field. If you wanted to do something that involved more research, you'll probably need a PhD.

    Personally, I'm seriously considering getting a masters in Medical Physics. It seems really exciting to me and I'd like to see that kind of application for physics.
