  1. Not hard nasty is a better word

    .. . ..

It seem today the world is full of want a be reporters

    .. .. ..

You have picked a subject that is on the less sought after carrier in writing

    .. . ..

It is too seasonal for most reporters who are specializing in one sport

    .. . ..

You have to know who's who and know where to be at the right time

    .. .. ..

To get on a local newspaper can be relentless in trial and failure

    .. . ..

To get a desk in a newspaper office is even harder in today's market

    .. .. ..

And the hard part of getting a job right out of college is not all that hard SOME TIMES

    .. . ..

Most editors will give a new be a chance because they might have the gift of words and who knows you might be the one

    . .. ..

So all I can tell you is to go to a local newspaper office and ask for an application to get an idea if they are even accepting one

    .. . ..

That will tell you for sure if your local paper is open to anyone new that wants to give it a  shot at the story of the day crew

    .. . ..

Good hunting and don't give up if you chose to be in this league of people

    .. . ..

  2. you can always start out blogging for your favorite sport or team and that way you'll already have a lot of samples to show the paper or company you are applying to.
