Is it hard to get accepted to coastal Carolina?

i need to know the average grades i need in high school. whats the average GPA SAT and ACT they accept.

  1. http://www.coastal.edu/effect/research/f... will give you specifics on the freshman population at CCU entering last year.

    GPA - 39.9% were above 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) and 72.3 were above a 3.0

    SAT - just about half were over 1000 and about 1/4 had no SAT report.  that means about 1/4 were under 1000.  only 2.3% were under 900.  Only 6.7% were over 1200.

    ACT - Almost 3/4 had no ACT (this would leave the 1/4 that didn't report the SAT).  The majority of that 1/4 of freshmen had an ACT between 20-23.  

    HS Class Rank - almost half were in the top 40% of their class.  

    undeclared, marine science, management, biology, and marketing were the five largest entering majors (in order).  Philosophy, physics, Spanish, theater and musical theater were the five smallest entering majors (in order).

    2007 acceptance rate was about 70% (8598 applications, 6017 accepted, 2531 enrolled)
