  1. I don't know what 80-ish means, but I think you should be able to get into a four-year college.

  2. You can be fine and get into a state school no problem

The way to do it is community college to get your GPA to be really good and then transfer and you will have no problem getting into an even better school, cause all of high school doesn't matter after two years of community college

  3. Not sure how you calculate an 80 GPA ours was a 4.0 scale but a public 4 year school should take you.  Write a good entrance essay and you cant fail.

  4. You seem like your in the running, maybe you want to retake your SAT's one more time? Reason being, city/state schools superscore your sats, so that means you got a 400, 410, 430 the first time..lets say on your retake you manage a 500, 470, 350.

The scores they will take from you are the highest so you will actually have a 500, 470, 430(from ur first take).

go to collegeboard.com and see what schools you are eligible for, they have a college matchmaker.

  5. Your SAT scores are pretty good, so most likely you will get into a 4-year college. If not, you can always go to a community college and then transfer. It's a lot cheaper that way. What do you mean by an 80-ish GPA?
