  1. sorry mate your not gonna like this but you're probably too old. Most drivers start karting at like age 8 not to say you can't but yeah...

Best bet wouldn't be with BMW but with McLaren, they run a young driver program which is how Hamilton got up there but you can obviously move to BMW later in your career...

    Hope this helps

  2. dont let anyone tell you you're too old to go karting. im just going on 15 and im starting in thetkm karts. if you are a good driver and fast learner then you could be in with a chance but be warned, without good financial backing and/or sponsorship the chances are slim but that doesnt mean that its impossible. try getting sponsors in karting before you even think about formula BMW.

    p.s.

what class are you racing in karts and do you race in scotland?

  3. Do some internet research. Julia Landauer was a Skip Barber Series champion and got a chance to run in Formula BMW. You just started karting, but you think you're going to leapfrog over all the drivers that already have multiple karting championships? Think again. Plan on getting a bunch more seat time before getting anywhere near a Formula BMW.

  4. I think Formula Renault would give you a better chance.

  5. you really need to have been karting from a young age, you cant just suddenly decide 'I want to be an F1 driver'
