  1. I believe they are starting to recruit overseas because locals don't want to join because of bad pay and working conditions. They have correspondingly lowered the bar so any applicant that can tick some boxes in a questionnaire can pass. You don't even need to be literate, never mind know the law.

  2. If you know where all the local takeaways are,..you,re sorted!

  3. Some forces are more difficult than others, Cheshire for example!

    Good luck!

  4. Its sad but true but standards have been lowered to gain entry to any UK police force.

Fitness levels have been dropped to level 5.4 on the 15m shuttle run. (approx 3mins 30 of running) which is such little exertion for any adult

Push and pull approx 35 Kg which is about the weight of a small child. (Most small adults with no gym routine average about 50 kg in this test)

The actual selection test has been nationalised which is some progress and is fairly straightforward and common sense is al thats needed. The English, maths and verbal reasoning side of things is very basic GCSE level.

The government changed the fitness levels as they be lived it discriminated against females due to the higher failure rate and some forces do operate a "support" scheme for ethnic minority applicants to prepare them for the application.

    Hope this helps !:0

  5. Only if you are a Heterosexual white male!

  6. after the LOBOTOMY  it will be fine
