Is it hard to get into the university of texas?

Nope. It's quite easy to get to University of Texas. I went to school at Fashion Insitute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco, CA. Then I got married and moved to Houston, Texas. I got accepted at University of Texas. But I turned it down to go to Houston Community College. :-) They save you alot of money if you want to get a 2 years degree.

All you need is good grades and show them your sat and act score. You can always go to a community college and then transfer it to University of Texas.

in Austin or Arlington? in Austin...yes! in Arlington... no!

As an undergraduate student starting college without any previous college hours, it's very difficult now. When I was starting school in 2000, it wasn't nearly as difficult as it is now.

If you're wanting to go to UT with previous hours you can transfer, you should be okay provided your grades were in good shape.
