Is it hard to install a A/C furnace set?

Question

I bought one used and was wondering if I could install it myself. I've done similar tasks and am good at such things but I've never specifically done this.

After I'm done I can have someone come check it out.

Most furnace/AC units have the AC compressor outside and the rest of the unit inside. You need a license to connect the piping and purchase the refrigerant. You could "set" the unit and hire someone else to charge it up.

You must be licensed to handle refrigerants,have a recovery machine,vacuum pump,torch set,guage set,duct sealant,have reasonable strength, and be comfortable with electricity.That's it.

The unlicensed refrigerant fine is very stiff if caught.
