Is it hard to install a remote starter kit for my 2005 toyota tundra?

I have a 2005 toyota tundra v6. I was wondering if it was hard to install a remote starter kit. Do you have to bypass the alarm? What are some good brands to look for?? factory or self-installation. Please give me some info. thanks

It would be best if you bring it into a shop and have them do it for you.

If you don't want to spend the extra money, I'd look up tutorials on youtube.

remote start systems and car alarm systems are extremely difficult to install for a novice, especially on vehicles made in the last ten or so years.

not trying to burst your bubble or anything but if you have never installed these types of electronics into a vehicle you should really consider taking the truck to a professional shop.
