  1. i learn little words from ni hao kai-lan hahaha its the chinese dora!

and i dont find that hard to memorize. my friend from hong kong taught me little phrases in mandarin and stuff too. i think its hard to learn any language if yu don't have yur heart in it. i mean yu really gotta love it to have fun and learn it easy. so its up to yu

and although i know japanese kanji which is essentially the same as chinese characters, id say its pretty easy to write them but memorising them at times is tedious, but one a day is simple and once yu learn one character they  build upon eachother like they are just the simple ones combined to make a complex one. like numbers are 0-9 and yu can make lots of bigger numbers out of the basic ones. so it gets easier!

  2. Chinese is not one of the easier languages to learn; it's a good deal more difficult than Spanish or French, for example. But it is doable, if you study hard.

  3. What I found difficult were the tones but it gets easier after a while, there are only 4 and after a few weeks you can imitate them pretty well if you have a good ear. The characters are sort of hard to write perfectly (especially if you write really small) but they are actually pretty easy to memorize when you know the meaning of them. The grammar is very easy, there is not verb conjugations like for example how we say "you ARE, I AM, he IS" they use "s**+" for all of those.

  4. You will most likely have to put in a lot of effort, but with time and practice you will be able to master it. From what I hear, the grammar is relatively simple, but I haven't gotten that far in my studies to say it's true.
