Hello

I've been skiing for last 4 years and i'm alright at it...i can ski on blue or green...lol but i rarely have accidents and i can go pretty fast.

But I wanna learn snowboarding this winter cause ski boots are way too heavy and i'm tired of skiing...

so...in opinion, would it be hard for me?

thanks

  1. It's not hard to learn, it just takes a few days to get the enough board control to be able to do a run without falling over.

Skiing and snowboarding have nothing in common except the feeling of sliding on snow, so it's good for you to have that down.

Take a lesson, give it at least two days to work it out and have fun!!

  2. Yes, especially if you've never skiied before, and you're not used to downhill type sports.  But having skiied before, it should be a little easier for you.  Boarding is totally different, though, and it's much harder than skiing at first.  Be sure to take the lessons so you can learn the difference between your toe edge and heel edge, and how to work your turns.

  3. its easy, specially if you athletic. try one of those simple classes, you know the basics. That's all you need the rest you can feel it out.

  4. its hard to learn anything, it just takes a while to get adjusted. in your case you're either gonna a) have an easier time cause you've been skiing beforehand or b) have a harder time cause you've been skiing beforehand. all it takes is practice
