Is it hard to learn how to dance like the Jamaicans?

I love watching wick'd videos every Saturday afternoon.I love the way you see these Jamaican women whining and shaking their asses so fast!I would love to learn those moves! Like in sample six(swing it away),and elephant Man (Drop Dead).I was wondering if it is hard to learn those dance moves or is it just a natural and born talent that only some have?Can anyone learn it with a lot of practice? Does anyone else want to learn or already dance like those women or men?

Go to Jamaica, check out Passa Passa, Bembe or any other party, (and we have two or more every night) you'll learn to dance in one night, fi real. You'll also learn a lot more, you'll soon be dancing the boasty dance, walking the boasty walk and talking the boasty talk, fi real.

Its not hard to dance like that.. just listen to the music and concentrate on moving your hips mostly then the rest will follow.  Its about being creative and letting the music take you.

NO it is mot hard to dance to our music all you have to do is to watch what they do and practice its very easy to catch i think you should go to one of our parties (dances) that we have you would surely learn alot in one night

sure you can learn - any dance moves can be learnt. I should tell you that there are a lot of vidoes on you tube explaining how to dance like that - just search for it, like step butterfly, and some videos can be found at expert village, also if you ever learnt belly dancing it will be easier - shaking and hip rolling is done in a simular way(Jamaicans, don't kill me for saying so, I'm just trying to help). at first I could not understand it too, but now it's much easier. I recommend you to use videos on you tube called  step butterfly and how to hip roll.  also just search for how to dance reggae - you'll get a lot of examples, some will show how to do femenine dances

i would say i comes natural cause most of J.A ppl now fi dance,... and it is possible to learn the dance..as long u have the time for it and u have a lot of practice ..o and noe how fi use ya body while dancing u cant be lokin stiff

Hard but fun ! And practice does make perfect ! You need to find yourself in Jamaica quick so a true Jamaican teach you. Summer is coming up so it's the perfect time and the Summer Fest in Jamaica is gonna be going on.

its not hard but some of it come natural and di music has to have a lot a bass and it will be easier to get in the groove.

We Jamaicans are very open the reason that we could dance so good is that music and dance runs trought our blood

we grew up dancing and it came from our ancestors

and its easy to dance you have start slowly but you will get it one time jus wuk up

and yes i can dance dancehall for me its easy

but we Jamaicans are very open with our music,culture,language and food and we always willing to teach

I couldn't dance to SAVE MY LIFE.  For me, it isnt just HARD. its impossible!
