  1. no, not hard. learn to play both. be patient, focus on your favorite guitarist and remember they didn't learn to play like that overnight- it takes awhile. stick with it. it is so worth it. you might consider Doug Marks metal method guitar lessons, they really work. I was playing like a pro in  a year.

    Good luck!!

  2. Piano is frustrating if you cant read music, or know where the keys are.  but other than that it is a 6 of 10 on difficulty scale

  3. I only know guitar.

Even though I taught myself, it is better to learn from a friend. Have them teach you all the parts, the chords, and some good songs. Then begin to practice by yourself.

That is easier than teching yourself.

If you want to learn 2 insturments, piano and guitar might not work very well together because they are a different "type", reading the music is different, and piano is way more complicated than guitar.

  4. YES!!!

  5. It depends on how good a musician you want to be.

If you want to just hack around, then both instruments are easy.

If you want to be a MUSICIAN, then it'll take years of practice and dedication.

Both options are valid, it's more about what you want to get out of it.

  6. well what fun is it if it's no challenge.

  7. hmm... it's a bit tough to learn guitar by yourself but it's possible.
