Is it hard to make it to the pros in futbol?

I've been playing since I was 2 (Literally) and I've always been a good defender up to now. I want to make it the pros for either futbol or baseball, but for futbol I would wanna play for either Portugal or Spain, I've lived in Portugal before and my dad knows the coach pretty good, so I don't know if that's an advantage. Currently I live in the U.S and I'm gonna play highschool Futbol, but really what are my chances of making it to the pros? And how hard is it?

Its easier to make it in baseball if you live in the united states

Chivas USA is decimated by injuries right now so they could probably use you for their game tomorrow night against Houston.

Play well and with a little luck a European scout will notice you and you'll be on a La Liga roster by Christmas.

If you're American just stick to baseball.  You Americans just don't have the culture for real football. Yes it's called FOOTBALL not futbol.
