Is it hard to ride a moped?

i'm 15 and i know all about having to take a cbt etc , but is the riding of the moped hard. i can ride a normal bike fine but i don't have the greatest co-ordination. when i was 11 i tried to ride a quad bike and couldn't do it atall, obviously it was a few years ago and my co-ordiantion might have improved but i'm worrying about whether i should waste money on a cbt when i won't even pass it?!

Im 14 and can ride a bike, and I can ride a motorbike. in my opinion, motorised bikes are easier to ride than normal bikes.

Never rode one but it cant be too hard if you can ride a bicycle. ATV's are different than bikes, though not that hard once you get used to leaning differently when you turn than on a two wheeled setup. You should be fine.

about the quad bike,

when ever you ride a quad for the first time its hard to get the hang of the steering,

i had been riding dirtbikes for months then my mate got a 150 or 125 quad, i was in firsg gear on a curving narrow track and i just couldnt get the steering right it took a few practice runs,

mopeds are nothing like quads dont worry you'l be fine, remember quads are 4 wheels and 2 wheels is a lot easier than 4

Riding a moped is easier than riding a bicycle and a lot more fun. And I'm sure you will pass just fine. Don't be afraid just get out there and do it. Have fun and be safe.

It's probably easier than riding a pushbike, as your feet don't have to do anything. Any worthwhile skill has to be learned, keep trying and don't give up. Once you've mastered a moped try a proper motorbike, when you get your head round the controls it becomes instinctive.

No. It is NOT hard. If you can ride a bicycle you can learn to drive a Moped.

The hint is in the whole "Twist 'n' go". It's simple, you only need a pulse to ride one and pass a CBT. A real motorcycle test is quite hard I have heard.

No it is lot of fun.  You were young and your coordination probably improved.

It could hardly be easier!  Sit down, pull back throttle.  ease off throttle and brake to a stop.  Repeat.
