  1. Meat...

  2. Meat seems harder to digest, but not much. Low carb diets rely on the principle that since the brain can only run on glycogen carbohydrates are restricted, then the body needs to make glycogen from protein, which takes more energy than making it from carbohydrates. This akes it easier to lose weight.

  3. It depends upon food intake of a person.

If you will eat any dry stuff whole day (anything meat or veggie) then it will be difficult for digestive system in your body to digest it.In that case person has to drink lots and lots of water so as to make it easier for his body to digest his dry food.

Wet food like ... anything you eat+some amount of milk ( it can be shake or plain milk) or juice or soft-drink etc are to digest as compared to dry food.

But human body always need high intake of water for problem free digestion.

Again there are some food items that make it hard for human digestive system to digest for example:-

Banana --> eating banana in much quantity is one of the reason of constipation.

So, summary is human body can digest wet food easily as compared to dry food and it is always advisable to drink plenty of water for easy digestion of whatever food you are taking...

  4. Meat is the hardest food to digest. Fruits and vegetables are actually very good for the digestive tract.

  5. It is much harder for the body to digest meat than plant matter.  Meat, if eaten in excess can cause cramping and constipation and can take from one to three days to fully digest.  If only plant products are eaten, it will pass through a person's system in about 12 hours.

  6. From what I read beef takes 4 to 5 hours to digest.

Pork takes 8 hours to digest.

I don't know about vegetables but, it would seem to me they would only take a few hours.

  7. Meat takes longer to digest.

Normally, taking longer to digest is a good thing.   Whole grains take longer to digest than refined grains.   Vegetables high in fiber take longer to digest than those with low fiber.   You need to make your body work to digest rather than providing access to quick sugar (like refined carbs)

  8. i don't think there is an all or nothing answer to this question. I have a horrible time digesting peppers, and other fruits and veggies that are high in acid. and when i eat indian food (vegetarian) well let's just say it isn't pretty.

  9. meat of course....fruit and veggies assist with digestion.
