  1. it is easier for me to be honest... that way i don't have to remember all my lies to keep things consistant

  2. It isn't harder to be honest...but sometimes it might be a little more embarrassing, depending upon what happened or the topic being discussed.

  3. Telling a lie.

"No man has a good enough memory to be a successful liar." - Abe Lincoln

  4. Sometimes in the short run, it is easier to lie, but rarely in the long run.  I can invent a story today to cover myself about something, but how about in 6 months when someone I told the lie to asks me something else and I don't remember the lie, but they do?  Then I look like a real loser.

Overall, it is better to tell the truth and deal with the issues it will bring up front, rather than be "caught" later on.  I'd rather look like a doofus for a short time than be thought of as a lying loser for a long time.

  5. Ever see the movie Liar,Liar?

  6. Always. If given the chance, most people will opt for the path of least resistance when it comes to matters of truth. Of course, most people don't have a nodding aquaintance with the meaning of the word "truth".

  7. depends on who's doing the telling.  for me honesty-it's the best policy.

If you have nothing to hide there is no temptation to lie.

  8. It is harder to tell a lie.

Being honest means you never have to remember what you said to whom.

  9. no its harder for me to lie

,because , i hate having to keep things to myself especially if i know it can help someone or change soemthing for soemone

i do it none the less, it has to be done, thats life

i find being honest just coems naturally to me, its who i am, i have however had to work at being a little more deceiving and lie when its necesary

your an odd one april, i like you, i like your qs, they are differnt, never the same subject

    ;-)

  12. usually, unless you are a bad liar or are lying to someone you really care about.

  13. Honesty is the best policy

  14. It's easier to be honest unless you're a compulsive liar or something.

  15. You don't want to hurt someone feelings.

  16. Initially it's easier to tell a lie, because it might avoid a fight. In the long run it's better to tell the truth for the following reasons. 1 You will get a reputation for being honest and greater trust from others. 2 It's complicated to remember all the lies. 3. You will feel better about yourself if you tell the truth

  17. For me, it is harder to tell a lie.

  18. Keeping track of what lies you've told can get tedious.  Its easier to tell the truth.  Sometimes its even fun

  19. I think it completely depends on the pattern you have set for your life.  To a pathological liar it is far easier to lie,for an honest, ethical, forthright person who never would DREAM of lying - telling a lie is out of the question PERIOD!

Of course some times TRUTH is hard to speak when we fear it's repercussions - but truth is always better than ANY lie!
