  1. It will be easier once you have lost weight, you will also have an easier pregnancy and a healthier baby. Good luck x

  2. one cant say for sure that ur weight is ur problem to get pregnant....coz i have known many overweight women getting pregnant n having healthy babies....even i was 185 lbs before getting pregnant...overwt! lol

however there may be many other reasons if u were trying for a while n no luck...get yrself checked for pcos ,irregular periods...n stuff...if u dont seem to find any pblm with them i guess u would be fine....GD!!!

  3. It can be harder to become pregnant when you are overweight but not necessarily. It all depends on your own body. I have a friend who is the same weight as me who has no issues with fertility and yet I did not ovulate on my own. It couldn't hurt to lose weight but it may not be a cure all. If you have been trying for over a year I would try to see a specialist just to make sure nothing else is going on. Good luck! :)

  4. as lonas you are not excessively over weight and are eating properly then i would think not but if you are excessively over weight and eating badly then yes xx

  5. Generally the healthier the weight the more likely you can get pregnant. But not always. I am a Big woman and I have kiddos and have no problem getting pregnant and staying healthy while pregnant and having healthy pregnancies and babies. I think it depends on the person, their overall health, weight is not always a factor. I know many thin women that have miscarrages and have hard pregnancies and get pregnant and many big women who have fine pregnancies and get prengant easy. Often times heavy women dont have regular periods so they dont ovulate, just like overly thin women and that can cause issues getting pregnant. Just try to eat healthy, stay active, good luck~

  6. I don't think it affects the ability to concieve but it can make it harder to keep the pregnancy. My friend was overweight and had a miscarriage with her first pregnancy. It is always healthier to lose weight and there are no bad side effects to becoming healthier! Hope everything goes well for you!

  7. It is easier to become pregnant after losing weight. The best thing you can do for yourself and your future baby is to get to a healthy weight, take prenatal vitamins, and live a healthy lifestyle.

  8. Well, I know that a lot of people are going to say that it's easier to become pregnant after loosing weight. It is also a lot healthier, and a lot safer for you and the baby if you are at a more stable, healthy weight pre-pregnancy.

However- From experience, for me at least, my weight did not stop me getting pregnant. I was on the pill, and we used a condom, and I still got pregnant-- And I'm a goodly amount overweight.

  9. my friend had a hard time getting pregnant and the dr said it was the weight stopping her she was 26st at the time.she slimmed down to 12st and got pregnant almost immediately now they have a longed for little girl.
