Is it harmful to inhale the fumes generated by proving bread?

I work in a commerical bakery and we have a prover where bread has been proved prior to baking. I think its harmful as I suspect the fumes are carbon dioxide. But someone likes to inhale the fumes for a lift?!

  1. You know as well as I do that the fumes will contain ethanol as well as CO2.
