Is it harram to not wear hijab??

i heard its optional then i hear its mandatory?

my dad doesnt force me too..

but he prays 5 times day

also whats niqab?

in islam hijab is not optional its obligatory but its up to you weather you want to follow that command from allah, in the end allah will judge you.  but niqab is optional but to some niqab is mandatory. but for sure hijab is mandatory

What is required is the minimum Hijaab and that's to cover the entire body excluding the hands and the face. This includes Hijaab in their behaviour and also that they're figure doesn't show and they don't wear bright colours that attract the attention.

There are two opinions of the Niqaab, one is that it is compulsory the Ulemaa who held this view use proofs and those who say it's not compulsory (but a good act) also have their proofs. It is a legitimate difference of opinion so there's nothing wrong with the women covering their faces.... like many people say!

Hijab is a boundary of modesty around a person.  How you "wear" it is your decision.  Niqab is a veil over a woman's lower face (beneath her eyes, covering her mouth).

some people think hijaab is covering of face and some people think it's covering hair.

covering hair/head is compulsory on every lady but covering the face is not but is better.

niqab is somthing with which you cover your face. mostly in niqaab the whole face is covered but the eyes are seen but you also get some niqaabs in which even eyes are covered.

covering of face is always considered to be good. the scholors say that it's important to wear during the times of fitan. so in the present world it's always important.

"YES" it is Haram not to wear Hijab.

Women are to cover all the Aurat except the face and both the palm of the hand from the ring of the hand to all the fingers. Wear loose cloth to avoid the figure to be seen. This to avoid interest in looking the figure.

Yes, it is haram not to wear a hijab. You don't have to wear a hijab in front of immediate family which includes: dad, mom, brothers, sisters, grandparents, and the elderly.

Niqab is a veil that covers a womans face completely except for the eyes.  Here's a picture:

However, you do not have to wear this. Instead a simple scarf is fine. Actually, in the Quran, it says that woman have to cover their hair, but it doesn't specify with what to cover it with. So you could use whatever: a hat, cap, bandanna as long as it covers your hair properly. I sometimes wear a bandanna. I know a few people who wear caps/hats too.

My dear sister salam for you It is not haram to not wear hijab But if you do not practise the instruction of Allah as stated in the Qur'an,so not wearing a hijab you will have sin Wearing hijab is mandatory and it is not optional.Your dad maybe do not read its verses.Please read and understand Allah's instruction about wearing hijab in  the Qur'an surah 7:26,31,32 ,surah 24:30,31 and surah 33:59.Niqab is a veil for covering your face.Niqab is not mandatory because it is not instructed by Allah in the Qur'an.

Hijab is a special clothes for muslim women which should cover all of their body parts from their toes upto to their hair because it is haram to be seen by non muhrim,so only their face and arms can be seen.

The model of hijab should be not so tight and its stuff is not transparent
