  1. No, and ducks should never ever be kept on paper or newspaper. It is too slick and has no traction. If kept on it they could develop a condition called Spaddle or Splay leg and then you have to splint their legs straight and hope the straighten up. Get them off the paper. Oh, and do not use any kind of cat litter because it looks just like their food and they will eat it.

  2. Paper isn't on  a ducks menu. paper could kill your animal.

  3. No ! Ducks shouldn't eat paper . But try something else for them to "go" on , like a litter box , or something meant for a duck .

  4. It will come out in their next bathroom visit, which is like every 5 minutes, my duck ate paper when he was a baby and he is still kicking today on my grandmas farm.

  5. For all poltry babys (chickens, ducks, geese, etc.) they should be kept on fine sawdust for the first month or so untill they get stronger and able to handle other types of surfaces. Paper, straw and such are too slipery for them and it could dammage their legs. Plastic is another no no. Kitty litter is another bad thing as it looks to much like their food and can expand in their little tummys.

As for eating the paper, well aslong as it has no toxins or anything, they should be fine. but i would sugest going to a farm supply shop or if you knwo someone who does wood work and get some sawdust for them to walk on. It is easy to clean up and when you are done with it, you can just dump it in your compost bins or in the garden for furtilazer.
