  1. The things you need to worry about with tea is the presence of Tanic Acid, caffeine, and diuretics properties.

Tanic Acid is linked to weakening of the stomach lining.

Caffeine can be shown to aggravate certain mental illnesses, sleeplessness, and is addictive.

Diuretics make you go..... 2. (Enough said?)

However, these are only the case with non-herbal teas, or in other words, teas that actually have tea leaf in it. So the green tea applies. Herbal teas are fine, but in the case of pregnancy seek the advice of your doctor.

  2. As long as you're not drinking only one kind of herbal tea, you should be okay.  It's possible to get too much even of certain kinds of herb teas.  I love them, too.  Remember that most teas have diuretic properties (make you pass water) and to drink at least 8 oz. of water for each cup of tea you drink.

  3. Yes

  4. watch the caffeine

  5. yeah but watch your iron

  6. I love drinking green tea!  I read an article about 10 years ago, that tea has antioxidants which free up and flush toxins from the body.  Also good for high metabolism.

  7. Yes, it is healthy. Especially green tea, because it contains a lot of antioxidants, natural substances that help prevent the cells breaking down. That means that green tea may help prevent cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and even aging. Green tea is said to be particularly good for the skin.

On the other hand, green tea is a diuretic, and it is important to drink water, just like you do. As long as you rehydrate with water, it's safe and beneficial to drink several cups of green tea every day.

Berry teas are also healthy, whereas herbal teas are often drunk because of their specific effects.

(I'm assuming you're not buying the teas bottled or in cartons, but that you brew them yourself.)

  8. yeah, that's very healthy. it sounds like you're staying hydrated and all those teas you mentioned have medicinal benefits.  the only thing to be concerned about is if you were drinking many cups of the same kind of tea every day.  just follow which teas you're drawn to.  those will often be what your body needs.
