  1. It's neither healthy nor un-healthy. Almost all cats will chase & eat bugs--all of mine have, except one, and that one cat's very favorite toys were crickets. He'd play with them, bat them all over, thro 'em up in the air, etc., but when they were dead, he was no longer interested and didn't eat them. My current cat can kill yellow jackets, but he doesn't eat them, but I've seen him eat spiders.

  2. i think so, my cat also eat bugs and (at one time) spiders. but i think its their nature to do that. They're quick, right? according to the third harry potter book (prisoner of azkaban) crookshanks (hermione's cat) ate spiders, too.

  3. Dont worry it really wont hurt them all cats catch bugs etc, and it is so comical to watch my 16 yr old exotic shorthair trying to catch them she has poor eyesight and a flat face its hilarious.

  4. As long as the bug is not poisonus then it is fine. My cat eats spiders just think of it as a little extra protein!

  5. lots of cats eat bugs and flying things. they find it great fun to chase them and  because they usually make little buzzing sounds it makes it even more fun. i would not be to worried about it im the wild they woul eat worse stuff than bugs. the only one thing i would be careful about are spiders cause if they bite she might have a reaction. but other wise she is just having fun!

  6. yes its a good source of protein

  7. is ur last name ansett?

  8. it's not bad for her unless it's a poisonous bug. just think of it as a little extra protein for her!

  9. my cat looooves to eat bugs. he smacks 'em, watches 'em squirm, then swats them around again. then he'll eat them, if he feels up to it, lol. no worries
