Is it healthy not to get your period when you are on the shot?

It's normal not to. Pretty much any weird period patterns are considered normal side effects of deop-provera. It's a very strong hormone that messes a lot with your system. What you want to watch out for though, is that with depo, your periods may not return for some time after you stop getting the shots. If you want to be able to return to instant fertility, you might like to consider the implant, Implanon.

Depending on how long you've been on the shot, yes.  That's basically what the shot is for, one of the things it's good for anyway.  It is normal, but if you're concerned then I reccommend going to a doctor.
