Is it healthy to eat something that is 1 day out of date?

Even if i grill or fry or put it in a microwave? so that it is cooked,

there is no mould on it or should i just go out and buy another type of food of the same kind?

  1. that,s fine. we do it all the time. look at it this way, if you buy something from the store and you keep it until the next day, it,s a day old.as long as it smells fresh and no mold, then it,s good to eat.

  3. If it's meat, make sure it's well cooked. The date is a suggestion, not a guideline =]

It's up to you and I wouldn't want to tell you to eat something that's out of date, just in case you get ill, but the manufacturers include a large safety margin in the date, and things don't go bad on the dot of midnight when their date runs out. So when I'm in that situation I use my eyes and my nose, and if it seems fresh I cook it well, and I'm still alive.
