  1. Any diet - vegetarian, vegan or including meat - can be healthy or unhealthy depending on what is eaten.

We can all give examples of relatives who lived well into healthy old age and claim it was their diet - veg*n or not - that can take the credit for their longevity, but that proves nothing.

  2. It depends If you maintain a balance in your diet.

as long as you get your protein, fatty acids, and all your vitamins you should be pretty healthy  :)

Make sure to eat some beans for protein and get some dairy in there if you are willing to drink milk or eat yogurt, whatever works best for you.

soy is excellent for vegetarians also.

  3. It doesn't matter.  You can be a vegetarian and eat candy bars and drink soda all day.  You could also be a meat-eater but eat healthy.

Too much meat is not good for you.  A little won't hurt.  Being vegetarian is fine as well.  It's all about what you eat overall.

  4. you can be a healthy vegetarian but it is way harder and way more expensive than eating like a normal person. we owe our advanced brain to meat. there is nothing wrong with eating meat. it tastes great and humans have ate meat for a hundred thousand years. since caveman times we have ate meat. you can choose to be a vege but I dont know why you would do that.

  5. Depends on what you eat as a vegetarian. It's not always healthier. I had a friend who ate a lot of cheese and dairy products instead of meat. She really didn't eat the right foods. She was pretty large and thought that by not eating meat it'd help her lose weight. It didn't work because she didn't eat enough veggies, soy products, and such. And she wondered why she didn't lose any weight??

I was a strict vegetarian for 13 years. I recently started eating chicken and seafood. Call me crazy, but my body feels a lot healthier now. I'm like frickin popeye. toot toot

  6. Healther to be a vegetarian.

The only possible deficencey you can get from being vegetarian is b-12. Anemia is usually mentioned but no one I know has ever had that. You just have to eat good foods not junk food all the time.Protien is in nuts and other sources but I  get it from veggie burgers which was at least 17 gramsin just one.

"The consumption of animal fats and proteins has been linked to heart disease, colon and lung cancer, osteoporosis, diabetes, kidney disease, hypertension, obesity, and a number of other debilitating conditions."-vegan.org

  7. its def healthier to be one.

your not eating all the artificial stuff they put in regular food so your bodys gonna be more healthy and you'll have a better well-being.

  8. Healthy vegetarians are healthy.

    Healthy meat eaters are healthy.

It doesn't matter if you eat meat or not, you can still eat an optimal diet.

  9. you may not believe this but i have an aunt who lost her first tooth at 83. she has been a vegetarian all her life. you decide
