Is it horrible to use the dried rose pettles from all the flowers your boyfriend gave you at your wedding?

I have saved all the dried rose pettles that my boyfriend has given me and I want my flower girl to use those at my wedding. Is that not a good idea...Help...

It'll look horrible-- just being honest. It's very sentimental, and that's fine. But generally in weddings, flower girls drop fake or fresh rose petals-- not dried. You can get rose petals in just about every imaginable color and they'll look FRESH like your love-- not dried and crusty.  People will step on them (the dry ones) and they'll break. And dried flowers almost always look brown-ish. The won't be the same color as your wedding colors.

as long as those flowers are from the guy you are now marrying---I think that's an awesome idea...they have a story behind them and that's awesome! :)

I think it's a nice idea because the rose petals have sentimental. However, if you use dried petals, they are going to crack when you walk on them. It may not look so nice once people have gone down the aisle. Fresh petals will not crack the way dried ones will and won't create the mess. Some people use fake rose petals too.
