Is it human nature to irrationally prejudge, or is it actually a personal dysfunction?

  1. No, I don't think it is human nature to irrationally prejudge.

    I think it is something that unfortunately comes with past experiences. If they have been negative then we will usually unfairly judge new people on the past.

    If the new people in our life can forgive this 'personal dysfunction' then we have every chance of moving on from our past.


  2. I think it comes from past experiences people have had with all different types of people. If someone of a different race has been mean to them, they believe that everyone of that race will be. Same thing with religion. If someone beats you up for either not believing or believing differently, they think all people of that religion are the same. Sad but true.

  3. Human nature. If something looks evil, it probably is. If something looks scary it probably is.

  4. It's just natural, nothing human about it.
