Is it ilegal to own a capuchin monkey in kentucky???

Me and my family are wanting to adopt a capuchin monkey for a forever baby....does anyone know if they are even legal in Kentucky?

i thank it depends on the monkey  if its little it should be okay.

I've looked all over the web and can't find any laws about it.

You'll need to determine if you can have it, prove you came by it legally, get the proper permit, pay an annual fee for the permit, house it according to the specific requirments and be able to transport it according to the specific requirments.
