  1. I dont think its Illegal to put your feet on the rope during any type of match.

In TLC, i dont know why you would, since theres no pins.

EDIT: I was assuming you meant like someone putting the foot on the rope trying to break up a pinfall.

  2. Yes it is

  3. No. It's only illegal in regular matches

  4. it doesnt matter what kind of match if u put ur foot on the rope during a pinfall the count is stopped weird and during submissions the ref starts counting even if its a no DQ match

  5. Yes, No, Yes.

  6. no

  7. I think the question starter meant is it illegal to put your feet on the rope while pinning their opponent in an extreme rules/no dq match? Answer is No, it's not. As for TLC, feel free to put your feet wherever you want.

  8. It's not illegal in any type of match. Putting you foot on the rope breaks a pin or a submission hold. But if you do it any extreme rules match, the ref isn't going to do anything about it. It doesn't break anything except break the pinfall

  9. Well, this is actually an interesting question.  The reason being that WWE referees have been known to break a pinfall EVEN IN HARDCORE MATCHES due to the foot on the rope thing.

In reality, NO.  It isn't illegal to place your feet on the ropes to assist your pinfall in Extreme Rules matches.

In NO DQ matches, however, it is.  The reason here being that you don't get disqualified for using the rope, you only get told that the pinfall doesn't count.  Weird, but noticeably true in both TNA and WWE.

TLC matches aren't usually a pinfall style match, as I've never seen the match use anything but ladder match rules, so I'd say that it'd be pointless to put your feet on the ropes.

If this is because of the way that the wrestlers react to the "rope pin" in Smackdown vs. Raw, that's just because they'll always react that way...  it's part of the move's animation.
