Is it illegal for a 16 year old and a 15 year old to date?

I was just curious and a little confused but is it illegal for a 15 year old and a 16 year old to date and/or have s*x?

No, it's not illegal.  It's illegal in some states for people over 18 to have s*x with people under 18, but if both are under 18 and consenting it's probably legal.  However, you might want to check your state's policy on that issue; there could be things like the 4-year rule we have in New Jersey.

well as long as if their parents are ok with this and know if their having s*x or not it's ok. It also depends on your state.

It's not illegal for anyone to date, just have s*x. Once you are both either 16 or 17 you guys can have s*x but once the one of you turns 18 and if you get caught the person who is under-age's parent's would have to give consent for it. :]

Wow, you're dumb..no it is not illegal, and yes you can have s*x. The only way it would be wrong is if one of you were 18 or over. My advice would be not to do 'It' though, it could seriously mess your life up..You could get a disease and you could end up with a baby nine months from now.

depends on your state. Different states have different laws regarding statutory rape (having s*x with a minor) I would research your state and stay away from s*x anyhow until you both are ready, law or not children ruin lives when had at a young age.
