Is it illegal for the referee to wear a bow tie that spins like a pinwheel...?

I just can't figure out why referees wouldn't wear pinwheel ties....

It depends in which state the fight is held in. Try watching a fight in North Dakota you might find a ref there with one. They've also been known to be worn in bikini jello fight.

The NBA made it illegal after spinning bow ties were used as a signal to tip-off gamblers. Boxing followed suit.

There's a chance it could slice up the fighters if they turn it up to high and it pulls them forward...

maybe you should try wearing a pinwheel bowtie and referee...kinda hard to pay attention....goober!

It only spins when they blow their whistle.  I think it'd be a hoot!
