  1. No.  You can carry 14 drivers and nothing else in your bag if you so choose.  Don't know if it'd help your score though.

Phil carried two drivers in one of his tournament in 2007.

Most tour pros have several clubs that they take or leave based on the course and playing condition for that day.

  2. sure is . if you dont exceed the 14 club limit . if it works stay with it . i am old guy , with todays irons and strong lofts , carry 5 wedges . whatever works for you perfect .

  3. nope

  4. No, it is not illegal.

In fact Phil Mickelson did that at one tournament, I believe he dominated that tournament also.

  5. There is no limitation on the type of club to be carried but all clubs have to meet USGA standards and there can be no more than 14. So a person can carry as may drivers or wedges if they arewithin the total.

  6. you could carry as many clubs as you like

  7. yes its legal as long as you stick to the 14 club rule

  8. Perfectly legal. I carry four wedges three woods and 7 irons 4-9. and a putter. It's all preference.

  9. Perfectly legal.  You could carry 14 drivers if you wanted as long as you don't have more than 14 clubs.  Mickelson carried two drivers at the Masters a couple years ago.  I don't see the logic in it, but it's OK with the rules.

  10. Its not illegal. But seriously... you dont need to have 2 in my opinion. One is hard enough to get used to. Plus you only will use a driver lets say 14 times a round max?

  11. You Could Have 14 Drivers If You Want, Just Not 15 Its Not Illegal Only Violates Golfs Rule.

  12. Ya its legal.  Some people carry two putters in their bags.  And, if you remember, Phil Mickleson carried a fade and a draw driver in his bag for a little bit...

  13. no you can have as as many drivers as you want as lond as you stay under the club minute,  Phil mickleson won a tournament with 2 drivers in his bag

  14. Nope, perfectly legal.  Phil Mickelson won the Masters a few years back carrying two drivers, one set up for a draw ball flight, and one set up standard or for a slight fade.

Personnaly, I like having four wedges in my bag, so two drivers isnt gonna work out.

  15. You can carry as many as you want if you're just playing recreationally.  In an actual tournament, you can only have 14.  If you want to carry 2 drivers, that's fine.  Phil Mickelson has done it on the PGA Tour.

  16. No, it's not. You can carry all 14 drivers in your bag given those are all you need in a round. Phil Mickelson sometimes carries two drivers.

  17. It is perfectly legal. You could carry 14 drivers if you wanted to. Phil Mickelson won the Masters two years ago carrying two drivers. Now, it would be crazy to carry a lot of them but it is legal.

  18. You are allowed to carry whatever set of clubs in your bag but you must not carry more than 14 clubs. Two drivers are perfectly legal so go ahead.
