Is it illegal to be underage in a room with Underage drinkers and not drinking?

If I am underage and refuse to drink but others are underage and choose to drink. Am I in trouble if the place gets raided with cops?

Absolutely, but good for you for not drinking!  I'm 19 and don't drink either.

I don't think so.  If you attend a party and a few uninvited guest show and bring some alcohol with them and start drinking, you have not done anything at this point (as long as you don't drink).  There are new city laws that will cite the homeowner as hosting a party to minors where alcohol is being served and the homeowner is fined a hefty fine even if they didn't have knowledge of the under age drinking.

If an officer has reasonable belief to suspect you have be drinking, they can have you blow into a alcohol screening device to find out if you have alcohol in your system.

We all were young once and have been in that same situation. We all handled that situation differently but use common sense and if you ever get the feeling you shouldn't be in a certain situation, leave.

Props to you for not falling into peer pressure, which is very hard these days.  Keep it up and stay focused on the big picture!

If you do not drink, then why association? Like not smoking but all in house and rooms do?

I think not. I do think if the cops are stricked enough they will

1.Breathalize you (If you havn't been drinking, thats not a problem)

2. Make you call your parents

3. Drive you home

I can not possibly understand how you can get in trouble with the law for not breaking any laws.

You would get a breathelizer test. If you dont have any booze in your system you are not guilty. However it depends on how you talk to the cops as well!
