Is it illegal to block a person from their house hold because of a parade?

Please note, that the person has no-one in getting home because of the parade.

  1. With the proper permits, a parade can be held and if the person cannot get home, then they will have to wait for the parade to end to get home.


  2. They might block your car, but generally they should not be excluding you from getting to your home.  Maybe not by the most direct route, but that is not what you asked.

  3. Actually, police officers along the parade route, should have set up certain block corners, for pedestrians to use, to get across the street when there is a big neough break in the parade.

    If you mean driving, yes its legal for a sanctioned parade, to block your house (driveway). Only during emergencies (ie ambulance) will that "blockaed" be lifted.
