  1. you need to have a sellers permit to open a lemonade stand if you are raking in the profits for yourself.

if the stand is for raising charity funds i think it is ok to put one up without a sellers permit..

selling hamsters at a lemonade stand might scare off all your customers.. dirty hands, no way to wash, dealing with drinks.. not a good idea..

  2. It's not illegal, but it's definitely a bad idea.

People buy from lemonade stands on a whim. People who buy hamsters from lemonade stands on that same whim are not going to provide good homes for those hamsters. Honestly, most people who buy hamsters ANYWHERE aren't providing ideal homes for them.

Good breeders have homes lined up for their hamsters even before the litter is born. That way, each hamster is guaranteed a good home, they aren't contributing to overpopulation, and they don't end up having to dump a litter of hamsters at a pet store or animal shelter.

  3. It's not illegal, but selling them at a lemonade stand probably isn't the best way to go about selling them. Instead try putting up flyer's saying that your selling hamsters and leave your phone number.

  4. Most communities require some sort of licencing to sell goods. If you're breeding with the intent to sell, you probably need a business licence of some sort or a garage sale type permit to legally have a lemonnade stand in most places.

It's highly unlikely that you could actually cover the costs of caring for the pregnant mom and pups by selling a litter at a lemonade stand.

  5. Well i would strongly advise you NOT to sell them at a lemenade stand.

I would advise you to advertise them up in a paper.

It would be wrong selling them in a stall

  6. I'm not sure if it's illegal, but it SHOULD BE. It's a really bad idea. Do you really want to mentally torture poor little hammies and give them to bad homes?

Go to a pet store and give them to the store. While the hammies are waiting for a home, they'll have plenty of care by the employees.

  7. I don't think it is illegal but probably not a very good idea.

  8. no its not..at least i wouldn't think...cause i know

you can sell puppies...i wouldn't though. its a bad

idea...only if somebody is allergic to them in your

family....;.i guess it would be ok

  9. What are you going to do.  Tell them if they buy a glass of lemonade that they can have a free hamster? Why would you sell them at a lemonade stand? You shouldn't breed hamsters to begin with.  There are already too many pets in the world.

  10. i wouldn't think so.

just say like your hamsters had babies, you couldn't keep them so u deiced to sell them.

  11. I dont think it is, but it's deffently not the best idea.

Hamsters are cute, but they are dirty. And if you have no way of cleaning your hands, and then you make a drink for someone.....uhhh i have to say it, buts kinda gross

but i dont thinks it illegal, go right ahead a sell them, just make like a side stand next to the lemonade stand so the hamsters and the lemonade dont mix

  12. Why would you want to sell hamsters at a lemone stand if your going to breed and sell them just stick a sign in your yard that says"hamsters for sale" or put an ad in the paper.....a lemon stand.....some sour hamster....jk........thanks for the laughs

  13. Why would you sell hamsters at a lemonade stand? I don't think it's legal, but i honestly dont know.

    But why a lemonade stand?

Then again maybe it's like in those movies where you leave a box full of puppies on the sidewalk with a sign that says "free puppies!" So maybe, i don't know.

  14. they are animals not play toys, people would abuse them! if it isn't illegal it should be! its a terrible idea and might/should be considered animal cruelty/abuse/endangerment!
