Is it illegal to breed and sell pigeons to the market?

It all depends on where you live, usual it is not illegal. For a couple of reasons, pigeons are considered a domestic species, they were brought over by europeans as pets or livestock, a few escaped and there was an outbreak of what we call the gutterbird. I believe that you don't need a license to breed and sell animals, but if you do there is a lot of dog and cat owners that should be in trouble.
