  1. You should make sure the video is MP4 or H2.64 video for iTunes. You can try the DVD to iTunes Converter and Video to iTunes Converter, it is so easy to rip DVD to iTunes, convert free youtube, limewire, google video to iTunes for iPhone, iPod touch/classic/video/nano, Apple TV.

  2. hmm not sure well if you claim that you made the movie then that's plagerism

  3. it's ok as you own the dvd by yourself, you will need to have a converter to help you, take a look at this reviews of top dvd to itunes converter for help http://www.dvdtoitunes.com/reviews.html , both mac and windows version are reviewed.this is a step by step guide http://www.dvdtoitunes.com/dvd-to-itunes...

  4. As long don't sell the burned DVD.It's legal

  5. Fair usage is still in the air on it. But right now you can make one copy (backup) for yourself.

  6. According to current copyright law, there are several ways in which to answer this. The most obvious answer is that the motion picture industry doesn't want you to copy anything for any reason, you're just supposed to accept that damaged disks are irreplaceable once they're out of circulation.

However, under the law there is a doctrine called "fair use" which specifies that you are allowed to use a small amount of any copyrighted work for academic, critical, or research use. Prince, for example, just lost a law suit against a woman for having the music playing in the background of a YouTube video, to which her baby was dancing.

However, the use of an entire work, even if the use is noncommercial, nonprofit, or academic in nature (which, according to an ongoing legal debate in the courts, might include ripping materials that you have legally purchased) is considered infringement of copyright. Exactly this question was raised in the Jammie Thomas case in 2007.

Therefore, yes: ripping your DVD is considered against the law.

If you disagree with this, write to your Senator in favor of increasing Fair Use doctrine and fair protection of consumers against the overbearing of most of the media industry.

  7. no it is not. just dont sell them.
