I want to buy an unlocked phone but i dont want to buy it and then realize my phone company wont take it because of a rule or law or something

I have a at&t and i am looking to find an unlocked samsung glyde

  1. It is legal to own an unlocked iPhone but illegal to own and distribute softwares that crack the iPhone.


  2. when u buy a phone from att its locked to their service. if u buy a unlocked phone, it just means u can use it with any sim card, its not illegal.

    but i think the glyde is for verizon only, and they dont use sim cards
