  1. no not if you buy the land from your local council

  2. if you buy l;and from the councill or ask the landowners permission

  3. I wouldn't see a problem in camping on public land as long as you are sensible and safe.

Obviously steer clear of private land unless you have checked with the landowner.

    Hope this helps

  4. mr moor might not like it but mrs moor would really enjoy it

  5. Whatever you do on the moor's, don't leave the road.

BEWARE THE MOON LAD'S, BEWARE THE MOOOOOON!!!!!

  6. If you go to Dartmoor it is possible to camp on the open moor but you have to be out of sight from the road and a lot of heavy other regulations apply, this is true for many parts of the UK it has to be common land though and you must check first.

  7. its not illegal but for your own safety you need local govt permission so that they can rescue you if you dont return in time. if you dont then they may take action against you!! have a nice time.

  8. to make it legal to pitch up your tent you do need the landowners permission ! without permit you brake the law.

    best of luck !

  9. Beware the moon....! :-)

  10. Take my advice.  Stick to the road... and stay off the moors...
