  1. definitely not, as long as it is a legal seat and seat belt fitted.

  2. It's perfectly legal. That's why you have split seats.

Just make sure passenger AND luggage are properly restrained.

  3. If it's a properly built split seat with belts etc. then you're ok.

  4. No why would it be? at least i hope not, my dad does it all the time.

  5. No why should it be.

  6. No, I don't think so. As long as it's a proper car seat and the luggage is not going to go flying and hit any one.

  7. Totally legal as long as they have a seat belt on .

  8. No, of course not.  Providing the remaining passeger is seated in a rigid seat with the provided seat-belt, then the collapsed seats can safely and legally be used for luggage.  This is even shown in my seven-seater car manual.  However, the only thing you need to take caution on is securing the luggage load so that it does not cause a danger in moving or upon impact.

  9. Micheal P has it right!!

  10. That's what split fold-down seats are for.  As long as everyone has a seat belt, it's not illegal.

  11. No it isn't as long as the passenger has access to a seat belt you are good.

  12. you will be just fine just have everyone a seat-belt.

  13. legal - as long as they wear seat belt (in uk)

  14. provided they are wearing the correct seatbelt then no it is not illegal.
