I'm creating the merchandise, and paying for the products and what not. Is it illegal to sell this merchandise to fans of the famous person and make a profit?

ex: I make some good quality "no offense" merchandise for say Randy Moss or someone famous and sell it to people who want to buy it?

  1. No one said that you couldn't search for the right way to seek a licensing agreement with their agent/business representative, or attorney to legally establish a business relationship, but you wiil probably need to consult with an attorney first.

  2. I'm sure it is lol

  3. You are infringing on their copyright.  This can get you in serious legal trouble.  Bootlegs have NEVER been legal as you are stealing from the star in question.

  4. There's an issue of copyright here.

You could possibly do it only if you get the famous person's permission - in writing - to cover yourself.

  5. i don't see it as wrong, but the police probably will.

i would just watch on who you're selling it to.
