During a brief conversation at work, someone asked the question is it really illegal to drink odouls while driving down the road! I thought for a second and said, I don't know. The guy mentioned that his friend called up the police station and he said it was NOT advisable! I am not what so ever promoting drinking and driving, I am just asking a real technical question. Any thoughts...

  1. While O'Doul's is not legally considered a beer, it will no longer be served to many people from state to state that are under 21 years of age from what I have read in recent reports.

The fact that it has not been determined how many servings of O'Doul's it would take to register on a Breathalyzer test, but it still could with a large number of these drinks.

A company representative from Anheuser-Busch said O'Doul's is not marketed to minors due to this reason but as stated above it will depend on the state where you live.

  2. It is legal.

Police advise you not to do anything (talk on the phone, eat, drink, shave, etc...) when you drive and that is why they said it was not advisable, but did not say it was illegal.

  3. no its not illegal at all. but your car will smell like beer and a cop will legally be able to put you though h**l during a traffic stop.

  4. seems okay to me. the police can stop you and find you are under the .08 limit and then they can't do anything.

  5. as of today...we can still enjoy a non intoxicating beverage ,while driving....BUT if we let THEM take all of our rights away at the same speed it has been happening......we are thru!....why did you not tell that police to kiss your___

  6. probably not, but you would def. attract the fuzz if they see you drinking what looks like booze and then that could lead to other tickets and confiscation of  the 10 kilos of coke in the back seat!
