  1. If the card is reg'd to someone 21 or over then no. But if you got caught for using it and receiving the money then yah. But they have no way of knowing really...

  2. Www.Pkr.Com is good

Www.Pokerstars.Com is most populra, pkr is more real and a lot more skill.

  3. USA Federal law does restrict your ability for using your credit card or your bank account to deposit and withdraw money for online gambling sites, and can cause you to take some chances with your money with third party operators that may not be totally reliable.

Certain states do have specific laws regarding online gambling and so it is deemed illegal in those states. These are the states:

    Illinois

    Indiana

    Louisiana - felony

    Michigan

Nevada - ( can you believe this? lol)

    New Jersey

    New York

    Oregon

    South Dakota

    Washington - felony

    Wisconsin

There are some sites where it is 100% USA legal to play online poker and blackjack and win gifts or even some cash. These sites are open to USA players and they also can accept credit cards from US banks.

    Good luck!

  4. There is no federal law that makes it a crime to gamble with a foreign gambling site.  The law that you might be referencing is aimed at the way banks transact with gambling sites.  Because of this, your credit card company might have put a filter on your card that declines gambling site transactions.  If your card works, you will have to take payout via another method.

For a better rundown of US online gambling law, go to http://poker-lobby.com/legal.htm and for reviews of other great sites, go to http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews.htm each site will also have links to common secure deposit and withdrawal methods.  Hope this helps.

  5. I thought it was... but others seem to say no its not illegal...?

I would have a hard time trusting some site like this anyways...they could rip you off and you would have no means of recourse.

  6. It's legal. You can play whatever you want, just you will have hard time to deposit, but you can find USA welcome sites and how to deposit at http://www.bettingwise.com/usagamblingsi...

  7. No and yes, its really a grey area.

But if you're looking for some places to wager and wondering where. Check out http://www.casinozombie.com they offer some of the best places for americans to bet

  8. yes

  9. Credit Cards rarely work, nor most bank debit cards.

It would be illegal for your bank to process the transaction if they knew that it was for 'illegal internet gambling'. Almost all banks block online casino transactions thanks to a merchant code initiated by Mastercard.

Banks go way out of their way to avoid regualtory BS. There is no written law, nor appeals court finding that says that casino gaming online is illegal. The DOJ says it is, but we'rre used to them making up their own rules these days, eh?

Sportsbetting has been found to be illegal via internet, by a court, and that decision has never been overturned on appeal.

Lawyers differ in their opinions. But to date, NO ONE has ever been arrested and convicted for playing casino games online and they never will under the current laws. And if they are, it will be overturned on appeal.

The UIGEA unlawful internet gambling enforcement act has simply made it more difficult ot deposit and withdraw, and has driven US players to shady casinos to be ripped off. It was a slimeball 'earmark' attached to a homeland security bill in the dead of night with no debate. It was paid for by US casinos and horseracing interests. I can back up every statement in this answer. My advice? Save your money and go to Vegas :) It's a labyrinth out there.
