  1. No it isn't. All you need is the correct type of child seat for the child of that age, have the child seat facing the rear, and the airbags turned OFF. If the airbags cannot be turned of then it is forbidden to have a child that age in the seat.

  2. It's absolutely forbidden; the danger is too big.

  3. no it is not ilegal,

contrary to popular belief the front seat is the safest option for a forward facing child seat with a 4 point harness

though it is recomended by manufacturers to turn the air bag off for rear facing seats

  4. yes.and why would anyone want to??xx(unless it's a rear facing baby seat)

  5. This site will explain everything to you, good luck.

  6. no darlin it isnt illegal as long as the chair is not facing the airbag also turn the airbag off if possible

  7. No it's not illegal.  It just goes against safety precautions.  I was once pulled over bc my taillight was out and I had a baby in a carseat in the front with me because there it was a truck without a backseat.  The cop didn't say anything to me about it.

  8. in France illegal under 10, and the UK child seat/booster regulations might apply as well
