Is it illegal to hunt rabbit in New Mexico without a license or something?

I want to hunt rabbit but I need to check rules and regulations first.

You can hunt rabbit and coyote all year, but you have to have some sort of hunting license issued by the state.

you can hunt them with no license if you are a resident. Here is a link to the proclamation it is on page 10 hope it helps
