Is it illegal to kill squirrels in Maryland?

i am 19 and i own a bb gun and there are squirrels running all over my backyard and they are eating my grandmothers plants and vegetables

they are pests and they are hurting my grandmothers garden

i think it is illegal, but you can buy a live animal trap and release them far away form where you are

they are legally a "game" species - shooting them outta the squirrel season and without a license is called POACHING - and yeah illegal

People eat animals

Animals eat smaller animals

smaller animals eat VEGITABLES + FRUITS!

Smaller animlas  (like squrills) are at the bottom of the food chain, as they r prey.

Dont even think about it! Squrrils do what they need to do, how would u like it if a pig killed u cuz u were trying 2 eat it? ITS LIFE!!!!!!!!

You need a hunting license and it has to be small game season. Set up a feeding station away from the garden and make access to the garden difficult. Put up a fence with a dog.

no u cannot do it people will call the ASPCA on you and get you arrested for animal cruelty.... sorry but dont do it! what u should do is fence the garden with eletric fence tht u can only go through and so if they get shocked u didnt do it they did it them self

i think its illegal to kill them but i dont think hurting them is but the squirrels have to be alive and running.

The earth was made for animals first, not humans...remember that.

BUT, what you could do is get some chicken wire and make a box all around your grandmothers garden. On the sides and the top. They won't be able to get in that way, and eventually should go away.
