the reason i ask is my neigbhors have there pontune boat parked right across the street from us and it is making it very hard to pull in and out of our drive. and also it is right across from the fire hydrant and i worry if there was a fire the fire department would not be able to get the hydrant to help me or my other neigbhors. also these are not the kind of people you can ask to move the boat because they will just keep

it there to annoy us. ONE OF THOSE NEIGBHORS!

  1. Recreational vehicles, watercraft sitting on trailers, etc. are licensed by the state, and have to follow the same parking regulations as passenger vehicles.  Since they are not passenger vehicles, they may be further covered by City ordinances in regards to storage.  A special permit may be required.  If you have any further questions, contact the Police or the code enforcement office at City Hall.

  2. Nope! Sounds like YOU are one of THOSE neighbors!

  3. Parking is covered by state law, and by local ordinances, so the answer will vary depending on where you live.

It is common to restrict parking of recreational vehicles on streets, but you would need to call your City Hall.
