Is it illegal to post a scanned copy of my Philippines Passport online?

I was just wondering of the legalities of this things because no one seems to have posted their passport online. What are the consequences when someone post their passport online?

yes it is u can actually go 2 prison 4 that im a goverment worker so take my advice seriously i wood never try 2 pull that stunnt we have ppl scan the internet every day 4 illigal things im not kidding soo ya i hope this helped
